Price Stability and Appreciation
There is a limited amount of beach property, and it is (and always will be) highly desired. You can expect price stability in market down turns and better than average price appreciation in market up turns.
Climate
Beach properties typically have a lower ambient temperature and receive direct ocean breezes making for cleaner air and more comfortable living.
Beach Life
It is restful and restorative. Walking the beach or wading / swimming / surfing in the ocean is healthful and affords the opportunity to witness the display of sea life (dolphins jumping, whales breaching, manta rays flying and turtles nesting). Or -- Sit back, feel the sand between your toes, listen to the intermittent cadence of the incoming waves and let the breeze blow by.

Sunsets - receding slowly over the ocean - are simply the best.
